It's no secret that Taylor has had her fair share of ex-boyfriends -- and hit songs about them! But her recent failed relationship with Conor Kennedy has us wondering if Taylor's career is getting in the way of her relationships.
Taylor Swift and
Conor Kennedy seemed to have the perfect summer romance. Taylor allegedly flew to New England every weekend to see her man. The two went sailing, vacationing and even managed to crash a wedding! But their
relationship of four months took a turn when Taylor's career kept the two separated.
When Taylor began to
promote her new album Red and Conor returned to the prestigious Deerfield Academy, the fairytale relationship reportedly suffered. "She has no time off until the end of the year," a source told
Us Weekly. "She realized she was fighting a losing battle," another source reported. Conor apparently
didn't like the long distance relationship either. "There aren't many guys game for a serious relationship with a girl who's out of the town the majority of the year," a friend told
Us Weekly. Despite Taylor's hugely successful career and constantly busy schedule, the
