That's the case for American Idol Season 10 competitor and fan favorite Pia Toscano. Celebuzz caught up with the singer in Los Angeles during her first week back in the recording studio as she works on her debut album and she tells us that she'd love to return to Idol for a couple reasons. "I wish that I could go back as a mentor for the contestants," the singer tells Celebuzz. "Because I feel they should add that because we've been through it a little bit. So, we know what's going on and we could give them some advice." What advice would she give the contestants? "It's a really hard process and you really need to live in the moment and have fun. And I think that's what I didn't do enough of," the 23-year-old tells us. "I was so technical through the whole entire process and I would kind of over-think everything." They originally met on the FOX competition show and Mason has worked with big artists including Whitney Houston, Chris Brown , Jennifer Hudson and Justin Timberlake. The team is aiming to have the album out this winter, which makes the timing perfect for Toscano to perform it when Idol returns in January. "And I'd love to return, because it is kind of home to me. It launched everything. I feel like you're not alive if you're not nervous. Sometimes, I perform even worse when I'm not.
